Job Overview CG Life is seeking an Associate Creative Director, Copy, to partner closely with the Associate Creative Director, Art, and shape creative work from concept to delivery. This role reports to the Group Creative Director and contributes directly to integrated work across print, digital, video, social, and environmental channels, while providing creative leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate quickly understands scientific and business challenges and translates them into compelling creative that helps clients navigate complexity and connect meaningfully with their audiences. They combine strong storytelling instincts with scientific rigor and bring a collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset fueled by a desire to move ideas forward. A background in B2B, life sciences, complex healthcare marketing, science communications, biotech, or science journalism, is a plus. Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Develop and execute high-caliber copy, from brief to delivery, across brand and product deliverables with a focus on craft, clarity, and accuracy Lead concept development in collaboration with strategy and art, shaping work that is strategically grounded, creatively ambitious, and rooted in audience understanding Present creative concepts and strategic rationale to internal teams and clients with confidence Mentor and oversee creative contributors, including freelance support, providing actionable feedback that elevates creative quality Drive creative ownership, workflow coordination, and delivery of high-impact work on time and within scope Explore and utilize emerging creative tools, technologies, and AI-driven platforms to evolve content experiences, creative development, and team innovation Contribute to new business initiatives, thought leadership, and collaborative planning efforts Participate in creative reviews and contribute to team culture and creative best practices Partner with strategy and analytics teams to interpret performance insights and strengthen creative effectiveness What Great Looks Like Elevating ideas through clear storytelling, emotional resonance, and scientific precision Pushing creative work forward with strategic thinking, audience awareness, and openness to feedback Building strong collaborative relationships and contributes positively to creative culture through mentorship and creative reviews Seeking out evolving technologies and new ways of working Adapting confidently to evolving client needs, industry shifts, and agency growth Qualifications and Skills 8+ years of creative experience in advertising, marketing, or agency environments, including leadership experience within integrated teams Strong portfolio that showcases concepting, storytelling, and critical thinking skills across a variety of channels (digital, social, print, video, environmental) Skilled at translating complex scientific and technical information into engaging creative Experienced in building effective creative partnerships across cross-functional teams Proven organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Excellent and enthusiastic presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to clients of all levels Fluency of healthcare and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements, including referencing, annotations, compliance review processes, and AMA style Familiarity with UX writing principles, modular content systems, and omnichannel content development Passionate about mentoring creatives and investing in the creative process Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Figma, and Adobe Acrobat
