Responsibilities

  • Install, test, commission, fault-find and maintain electrical systems on mobile concrete plants

  • Exposure to VSDs, soft starters, or quarry/concrete/asphalt plants - advantageous
  • Current First Aid & LVR (additional tickets such as HV, Confined Space or EWP beneficial)
  • Willingness to travel and work on remote sites for extended periods
  • A hands-on electrician who enjoys solving problems on the tools
  • Practical, reliable, and safety-focused
  • Confident working independently but happy to be part of a broader team
  • Adaptable, proactive, and keen to learn and improve systems over time

The purpose of this position is to provide electrical support for the mobilisation, commissioning, maintenance, and demobilisation of Heidelberg Materials Australia's Mobile Concrete Plant fleet. The role ensures compliance with all relevant Mines and Quarry Work Health and Safety Regulations, AS/NZS standards, and company policies, while maximizing operational efficiency and safety. The employee must be able to travel to remote locations for multiple days or weeks as required. Electrician Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a capable, hands-on Electrician to support our Mobile Concrete Plant fleet across Australia.
