Responsibilities

• Act as the responsible Project Engineer for the site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining engineering standards.
• Deliver site engineering systems that support EHS compliance .
• Contribute to strategic investment planning and provide project support for CAPEX and small projects within budget .
• Collaborate on preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan and cost site-managed projects, ensuring timely submission of documentation for approvals.
• Maintain site drawings and technical information, and provide updates on analytics and automation tools.
• Support projects to ensure delivery on time, in full, and aligned with corporate engineering requirements.
• Drive EHS improvements and contribute to Huntsman's Zero Harm objectives .
• Experience and Competencies
• Degree, HND, or HNC in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Chemical).
• Experience in the chemical sector (pharma or biochemical or manufacturing considered).
• Strong background in engineering functions and project support.
• Knowledge of regulatory and statutory engineering requirements.
• Proficiency i n MS Office ( Microsoft Projects ) , AutoCAD, and data intelligence solutions.
• Knowledge of SAP is nice to have
• Familiarity with LEAN tools (VSM, SMED, Kaizen) and continuous improvement.
