Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Own and review the monthly P&L , ensuring accurate accounting of revenue, costs, and expenses
• Perform financial postings , review Month-End Close packages, and ensure timely completion of close activities
• Partner with Financial BPs to investigate, analyse , and explain financial variances
• Prepare and post reclassifications, and other journal entries
• Review Purchase Price Variances and collaborate with procurement to resolve discrepancies
• Manage VAT processes , including preparation, submission, payment initiation, and documentation in BlackLine
• Conduct monthly Balance Sheet reviews (accruals, prepayments) in collaboration with the GL Specialist
• Approve balance sheet reconciliations for accruals and prepayments
• Support SOX compliance activities , including fixed asset counts and overhead/ labo u r rate updates
• Prepare statistical and regulatory reports as required
• Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance, or a related field
• Working knowledge of accounting and Finance processes and an aptitude to create financial analysis (proven track record of conducting reporting and analysis is considered an advantage)
• Skills and Knowledge
• Experience working with ERP systems
• An analytical mindse t with the ability to navigate complex financial data and adapt to changing business needs
• The ability to transform numerical data into business insight , enabling informed decision-making
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills-both written and verbal in English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• The pay range for this position is gross 705 000 to 1 200 000 HUF/month . Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between gross 800 000 to 1 100 000 HUF/month
• Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for short-term incentive.
