Project Accounts Analyst

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in project accounting, financial analysis, or general accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in mining, manufacturing, or project-based industries is an advantage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of a Project Account Analyst include: Analyse project financial performance and identify budget variances, cost overruns, or potential financial risks. Monitoring financial aspects of projects, investigating variances, approving expenses, and issuing billings. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standardsand contractual requirements. Collaborating with project teams to provide timely and accurate financial information. Reconcile project accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to project accounting Perform data analysis using spreadsheets and accounting software to support financial planning and reporting. Assist in preparing management presentations related to project financial performance. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.
