Band 7/8a - Adult Community Speech and Language Therapist - Croydon

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and discharge adult clients with communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Focus on clients with long-term conditions such as MND and dysfluency.
• Work primarily in the Croydon University Hospital Out-patient area.
• Collaborate with Community Adult SLT Teams.
• Qualifications and Experience:
• HCPC & RCSLT registration.
• A recognized degree in Speech and Language Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
• At least three to five years, including experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders.
• Proficiency in using various therapeutic techniques and tools is essential.
• Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD) and maintaining an up-to-date CPD portfolio.
