Responsibilities
- Take patient histories and vital signs
- Prepare patients for exams and treatments
- Assist providers during procedures and infusion-related care
- Administer medications as directed
- Collect and process lab specimens
- Provide patient education and support treatment plans
- Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care
- Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic health record
- Support front office workflows, including patient check-in and communication
Requirements
- Active Medical Assistant Certification/Registry (required)
- BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- High School Diploma or GED
