Job Summary: The Analog Engineer III is a n experienced contributor who works highly independently and uses established procedures to perform assigned tasks by working cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers and Customers. Provide engineering design and analysis services for DC/DC power converters and filters for space and Hi-rel iability applications . R esponsibility for technical proposals, requirements management, detailed architecture of topology and control, detailed circuit design and analyses (including familiarity with part selection and design concepts associated with radiation hardened / tolerant circuitry ), p roduct performance , customer presentations, schedule, and cost requirements. Will have expert knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of assigned product or program. May lead a team of engineers on assigned projects. Essential Functions: M odel and simulate circuit or system performance of dc-dc power converters and filters using analytical tools Detailed design and analysis of discrete implementation of power converter control circuitry that is resistant to performance degra dation due to radiation effects Filte r modeling, analysis and design System integration, test and development of DC power conversion hardware for spac eflight and Hi-Rel applications In vestigate and evaluate new power topologies and control for spaceflight applications Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure that the designs meet the customers ' electrical, environmental as well as internal manufacturing requirements and standards Support inte rnal concurrent design criteria F unction as the technical interface for customers and attend technical meetings as required . Support specification development with customer s Translate market specification s into design requirements. G enerate design documentation required for prototype and/or production releases as required Document new designs per established guidelines including but not limited to simulations, test circuit measurements and tolerance analys e s Provide appropriate input to the development of test pr ocedures, fixtures and software Respond to market trends and requirements for pro duct development specifications Any other task assigned by your supervisor or management Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information.
