About the role
The FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions of the organisation. This role is critical in providing financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making, improve financial performance, and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities: Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, reporting and decision-making processes. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by gathering relevant data, analysing trends, and identifying key drivers. Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis between actual financial results and budget/forecast figures to identify discrepancies and underlying reasons. Reporting: Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and other stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Data Management: Manage financial data accurately and efficiently, ensuring data integrity and consistency across different platforms and systems. Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic initiatives and special projects. Systems: this will be a heavily based systems role, so the candidate must be able to learn and adapt to new platforms quickly. 3 years experience in financial planning & analysis. Experience using Prophix (or similar Budgeting, Planning & Reporting tool). Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA). Understanding of Services and Technology businesses. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership skills in a complex, fast-paced environment with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Work's a treat!
