Prepare, coordinate and execute successful GFSI and any other customer audits. Lead all efforts relating to preparation for BRC audit by cross functional partnerships and follow up to get things done. Conducts internal auditing and review of the programs and paperwork to identify gaps and take corrective actions. Keeps up with the changes relating to BRC program and other audit compliance needs. Manage the Suppliers Approval program, keep completed questionnaires from the suppliers, audit the suppliers as needed and work with FSQA Director for final approval/disqualification of the supplier. Manage the Outside Warehouse Approval program, keep completed questionnaires from the warehouse, audit the warehouse as needed and work with FSQA Director for final approval/disqualification of the warehouse. Assists Food Safety Regulatory person with the Foreign Supplier Program and various Food Safety plans. Receives, sorts, files and retrieves training and work order forms. Organize monthly QA and operations KPI review meetings. Organize weekly cross functional meeting within QA, FS, and Sanitation. Complete customer requests in a timely manner and provide appropriate permissible documents by working with department management and corporate regulatory. Compiles reports and summaries of work; updates, checks and completes records, forms and documents. Processes Auditor documents to update and maintain files and records. Processes and distributes confidential and sensitive documents. Composes, formats and SOP's, reports and other documents. May coordinate calendars, schedules, meetings, training and travel arrangements. May maintain training records. May assist other agencies and the public with information forms and other department resources and explaining procedures. Thorough understanding and experience with auditing GFSI standards like BRC, Primus etc. Two-three years of equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: - Understanding of GFSI standards and Good Manufacturing Practices - Certified BRC, HACCP, GMP, Internal auditing, Auditing suppliers and PCQI. - Tracking, trending, interpretation and communication of the data. - Working knowledge and/or skill in spread sheets and other computer applications. - Rules and procedures of assigned department, including state and federal law ABILITY TO: - Communicate effectively and timely manner. - Make accurate arithmetic computations. - Set up meetings, take notes and make next meeting recommendations. - Follow written and verbal instructions. - Communicate effectively verbally and in writing. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree with 3-5 years previous applicable GFSI experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
