Logistic Manager (West)

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Logistics Section to ensure smooth and timely workflows.
• Verify operational reports, expense invoices and shipping arrangements.
• Conduct random audit checks on daily stock counts to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure all external correspondences are promptly followed up.
• Support and optimise production planning activities.
• Collect, analyse and share sales information internally.
• Perform sales and stock variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve sales, production and raw material variance issues.
• Manage customer relationships and handle all customer inquiries.
• Manage and resolve matters related to sales, stock and delivery issues.
• Oversee logistics-related expenditures and verify vendor pricing and quotations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the section.
• Encourage and monitor staff participation in improvement activities.
• Manage employee performance and development.
• Provide coaching and guidance to help the team achieve performance targets.
• Conduct regular check-ins and deliver performance feedback.
• Facilitate employee engagement and developmental discussions.

Requirements

• At least eight years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience, including three years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of international trading and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills to support operational and strategic decisions.
