Responsibilities
- In this role, you will be responsible to:
- Deliver operational excellence through effective management of complex technical solutions and large and complex electrical projects / multiple jobs
- Work on electrical projects from inception, through strategic planning and concept to detailed design planning and resourcing effectively to meet budgets and targets
- Lead and manage M&E project teams by outlining and assigning work, reviewing technical accuracy and technical outcomes
- Identify and implement profit maximisation and cost management strategies
- Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing
- Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants
- In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting
- Respond to client enquiries about technical issues in a way that maximises understanding
- Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills
- Mentor and coach junior peers across the M&E discipline
- Key Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (recognized by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore, will be an advantage)
- At least 7 years of experience from an engineering consulting environment is preferred
- Certified Professional Engineer will be an advantage
- Experience leading roles for design & design management of healthcare, commercial and/or institutional projects
- Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures
- Competent user of relevant engineering software, Building Information Modelling and Navisworks
- Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives
- A team, client and delivery focused working style
