What our Reliability Supervisor will do: Supervises and assigns the work of maintenance employees. Inspects work for completeness. Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used. Transfer's equipment and personnel from one project to another as necessary. Keeps timecards and other routine records. Coordinates, installs, inspects, repairs, maintains fresh fruit packing equipment and other related systems. Coordinates, inspects, operates, and maintains the heating, cooling and ventilation systems (including boiler system). Coordinates and inspects major contract work on the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems. Assign and prioritize work based on production demand, food safety risk, and equipment criticality. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and oversight to maintenance mechanics. Ensure breakdowns and emergency repairs are executed safely and efficiently. Ensure Employees are trained and following all company mandated programs including OSHA safety programs. Ensure all employees are following GMP policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned by Reliability Manager. Skills & experience that are necessary as our Reliability Supervisor will include, but not limited to: Ability to meet and deal tactfully and courteously with fellow employees and vendors/contractors. Ability to install, inspect, repair and maintain the electrical, plumbing and other related systems. Ability to perform various clean-up and maintenance tasks as needed. Ability to update inventories and other supplies as needed. Ability to inspect, operate and maintain the heating, cooling, ventilation system, and boiler system. Ability to understand complex written and oral instructions. Blueprint and Schematic literacy (mechanical and electrical) Understand the functionality and application of a CMMS Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School or GED or related technical field. At least two years of education and training beyond high school level in industrial maintenance and reliability, or a closely related area. One year experience in maintenance operations including two years in a supervisory capacity. Other similar work or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position may be considered.
