About the Role We are looking for a dependable, kind, and team-oriented Hospital Aide to support our grooming, kennel, hospital, and mobile care teams. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys staying busy and helping animals. Responsibilities include kennel care, cleaning, grooming support, animal handling, and assisting with daily operations. To provide the best possible care for our patients, team members should be comfortable working within our operating hours and maintaining flexibility as scheduling needs arise. While this position is primarily based at one hospital location, occasional coverage at our nearby hospitals (all within a 15-mile radius) may be requested to support our teams and patients. Because schedules are built around patient care needs, some week-to-week variation may occur. Candidates with reliable availability, adaptability, and a collaborative, team-focused approach will be especially successful in this role What Success Looks Like Successful team members: - Stay positive and dependable in a fast-paced environment - Take initiative and work well with others - Communicate professionally with clients and coworkers - Take pride in cleanliness, organization, and reliability Responsibilities - Assist groomers with bathing, handling, and pet preparation - Clean and maintain kennels, grooming areas, and common spaces - Safely and compassionately handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments - Support mobile operations wherever needed - Help create a positive experience for pets, clients, and teammates Requirements - Includes some evenings and weekends - Comfortable working a flexible schedule without guaranteed set shifts - Able to work independently and as part of a team - Comfortable in a physically active, fast-paced environment - Ability to lift and carry animals of varying sizes - Strong communication and attention to detail - Animal care experience preferred, but not required Compensation & Benefits Pay $15.00-$16.00 per hour $500 Onboarding Bonus - $100 on first paycheck - $150 after training completion - $250 six months after training Benefits - Free in-house veterinary services for your own pet(s) - At-cost third-party veterinary services and products - Paid vacation and holidays - Health, dental, vision, supplemental, and life insurance - Short-term (company paid) and long-term disability - Maternity leave - Retirement benefits - Uniform and shoe benefits If you are compassionate, adaptable, and ready to be part of a team that truly cares about pets and people, we'd love to hear from you.
