Inventory Shipping & Receiving Lead

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or technical training in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics, with prior leadership or lead experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or logistics personnel in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, material traceability, and warehouse operations.
• Experience with shipping documentation, receiving procedures, freight carriers, packaging requirements, and transportation logistics.
• Ability to utilize ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, inventory software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory transactions, material handling, documentation, and shipment verification.
• Ability to identify inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, process inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and coordinate workflow effectively.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and provide clear direction to team members.
• Ability to foster a positive team environment while working collaboratively with production, quality, supply chain, and management personnel.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment. Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials throughout the workday, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

This role provides leadership and guidance to warehouse personnel, coordinates material movement throughout the facility, maintains inventory integrity, and supports production operations by ensuring the timely receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
