About the role
Expected Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 annually Vacancy Status: Existing Vacancy Provides strategic and operational leadership for inventory management and inventory‑related system integrations. Owns inventory accuracy, controls, and reporting across SAP IM/MM and SAP WM/EWM environments, as well as integrated external systems. Acts as the subject matter expert for SAP inventory processes, EDI transactions, and IDoc flows, including proactive monitoring and advanced troubleshooting. Essential Job Functions The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all these duties; however, this is not an exclusive or all‑inclusive list. Leads analysis of inventory levels, aging inventory, inventory accuracy and usage trends to assist strategic inventory decisions Owns end‑to‑end inventory accuracy across SAP IM/MM and SAP WM/EWM through robust controls, reconciliations, and root cause analysis, using established system integration processes Conducts month end inventory/production posting reconciliation as required by customers and Leads reconciliation of inventory balances between SAP IM/MM, SAP WM/EWM, and external systems Acts as the independent liaison to ensure monthly cycle counts are completed at all Menasha Canada Locations and coordinates required Year End Physical Counts. Serves as the SAP inventory subject matter expert for IM/MM processes including goods movements (GI/GR), physical inventory, stock types, master data Provides support for SAP WM/EWM processes including bin management, stock placements and removals, transfers, and warehouse adjustments Monitors, analyzes, and resolves EDI and IDoc failures supporting inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, transfers, and adjustments Performs advanced IDoc troubleshooting (monitoring, error analysis, reprocessing) and leads root cause prevention efforts Partners with IT on SAP enhancements, interface design, testing, cutovers, and post‑implementation stabilization Develops and maintains inventory KPIs and dashboards such as cycle count accuracy, and excess & obsolete inventory Leads or supports SAP‑related initiatives including system upgrades, warehouse expansions, network changes, and integration projects Establishes, documents, and enforces inventory control procedures and SAP best practices Collaborates closely with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and warehouse leadership Drives continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization, system reliability, and data integrity Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field preferred Significant experience in inventory management or supply chain analytics within SAP‑enabled environments required Demonstrated hands‑on ownership of SAP IM/MM and WM or EWM inventory processes required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Expert‑level knowledge of SAP Inventory Management (IM) and Materials Management (MM), including inventory movements, cycle counting, and master data Strong functional knowledge of SAP WM and/or SAP EWM, including warehouse transactions, bin‑level inventory, and stock reconciliation Advanced experience with EDI and IDocs, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause resolution Proven ability to reconcile inventory between SAP modules and external systems Strong understanding of inventory optimization principles and supply chain best practices Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations Strong collaboration skills with IT and cross‑functional business partners Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical/reporting tools Strong problem‑solving, documentation, communication, and leadership skills Physical Requirements & Work Environment Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting All Menasha Packaging employees must conduct their work in a manner that complies with all legal s
