About the role
The Online Growth & Marketing team is responsible for driving SumUp's online acquisition and leading marketing efforts in Brazil, one of our most strategic markets. As Growth Marketing Manager, you'll own both Brazil's marketing agenda and acquisition engine end to end - from brand awareness and local campaigns to performance marketing and digital growth. Responsibilities
- Lead Brazil's local marketing strategy across awareness, digital acquisition, and growth channels
- Partner with global teams to adapt and execute campaigns locally, while shaping media strategy, partnerships, and market-specific initiatives for Brazil
- Own top-of-funnel growth across paid and organic channels, delivering against acquisition, revenue, and payback targets
- Define and execute online acquisition strategies across web and app, including paid acquisition channels such as Google, Meta, and TikTok
- Drive SEO and organic growth initiatives, app growth and app-store optimisation strategies, and conversion-rate optimisation across key customer journeys
- Lead testing and experimentation initiatives to improve conversion rates, channel efficiency, and overall marketing effectiveness
- Work closely with Data, Pricing, and Martech teams to turn performance insights into clear optimisation opportunities and scalable growth actions
- Lead and develop a team across marketing and performance marketing, setting priorities, establishing operating rhythms, and continuously raising the performance bar

- Strong track record leading paid and organic acquisition programmes, with hands-on experience across channels such as Google, Meta, and app stores
- Experience managing significant media budgets and holding accountability for acquisition and revenue targets
- Proficiency in A/B testing tools (such as Optimizely) and data visualisation platforms (such as Tableau)
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (ideally Builder.io) and a working knowledge of HTML/CSS to collaborate on landing pages
- Fluency in English and Portuguese, with the ability to communicate clearly across local and global teams
- Previous leadership experience, with the ability to assess team performance and build a high-functioning group
