Job Title: Campaign & Analysis Manager, Crop Protection (Contract Role) Job Type : Long Term Contract Work Location : Pune, Maharashtra Role Purpose: This role is responsible for the ideation, planning, execution, and effectiveness analysis of sales and marketing campaigns for the Crop Protection business, in line with brand, portfolio, and market development strategies, to achieve volume and revenue goals. The incumbent will work closely key stakeholders to design and deploy impactful market development campaigns, communication material, and sales enablement tools that strengthen market penetration and demand generation. Duties / Responsibilities Develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns aligned to the Crop Protection business strategy, product priorities, and seasonal market needs. Collaborate with Product Management and Sales teams to conceptualize innovative campaign programs that drive product demand, market share, and customer engagement. Create and ensure timely delivery of campaign tools, point-of-sale materials, communication inputs, and market activation collateral . Design effective training tools, sales aids, presentation material, and product communication content for front-line sales teams and channel partners. Manage Marketing Communication Material (MCM) budgets , ensuring efficient allocation and optimal utilization. Monitor and drive proper usage of MCMs across regions to maximize campaign effectiveness and brand consistency. Develop and implement advertising and promotional strategies for assigned geographies or product segments. Establish an annual campaign activity calendar/charter with defined timelines and review mechanisms; provide quarterly updates on progress and outcomes. Track campaign execution and provide regular status reviews, dashboards, and performance reports to business leadership. Conduct post-campaign effectiveness analysis , measuring outcomes against defined objectives and generating insights for continuous improvement. Build and maintain a strong market intelligence network to understand competitor campaigns, market trends, farmer behavior, and channel dynamics. Develop insights from market feedback, customer needs, channel interactions, and business analytics to design more effective campaigns. Ensure strong coordination with regional sales teams, product managers, technical/agronomy teams, and sourcing/supply teams for seamless campaign execution. Conduct regular audits on MCM quality, utilization, and brand adherence to ensure compliance with standards and consistency in market presence. Proactively support Area / Business leadership with campaign insights, execution updates, and recommendations to drive business performance. Ensure adherence to company values, policies, brand guidelines, and compliance requirements , particularly in product communication and market-facing promotions. Job Qualifications Education Bachelor's or master's degree in agriculture , Agribusiness, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Prefer from Premium B Schools (IIM/ MANAGE / NAARM / VAAMNICOM etc) Experience & Skills 0-2 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, campaign management, trade marketing, or business analytics, preferably within the Crop Protection / Agri-input industry Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Attributes Familiarity with seasonal crop cycles, farmer segmentation, and go-to-market models in the Crop Protection industry Experience working closely with field sales teams and translating business strategy into executable campaigns Strong commercial mindset with a balance of creativity and analytical rigor. Strong understanding of Crop Protection products, channel dynamics, farmer engagement, and demand generation strategies Proven ability to design and implement marketing campaigns and execution plans that support sustained business growth Strong analytical capability with experience in campaign performance tracking, dashboarding, and insight generation Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills Proficiency in CRM tools, data analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple campaigns simultaneously Confident presenter, able to communicate effectively in small to medium-sized groups Ability to translate market insights into practical campaign actions and business recommendations
