About the role

Working closely with College Executives, senior leaders, and stakeholders across the University, the role is responsible for managing complex, cross functional programs of work, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and the effective implementation of agreed outcomes. The position will establish and maintain robust program governance, coordinate project teams across multiple workstreams, and oversee end-to-end project delivery, including planning, risk management, reporting, and performance monitoring. The Project Manager will work collaboratively with stakeholders to coordinate activities across multiple teams and functions, ensuring effective implementation and alignment. . A key focus of the role is driving organisational change by leading change management activities that support stakeholder engagement, readiness, and adoption of new ways of working. Through strong project leadership, effective communication, and a cross-University perspective, the Project Manager will enable successful outcomes and contribute to the delivery of strategic priorities within the College of Vocational Education and the broader University. To be successful in this position, you'll have: Extensive experience in strategic execution of impactful projects with clear benefits realisation. Ability to translate organisational strategic goals and lead high performing teams Experience in a position requiring strong influencing, interpersonal and negotiation skills at senior levels to achieve desired outcomes. Ability to prioritise tasks and work in an environment requiring flexibility and collaborative decision making to achieve deadlines. High level of digital literacy, including ability to manipulate data and develop visual dashboards, streamline workflows and explore automation/AI for efficiencies. Experience in delivery of projects in tertiary education sector
Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in business, project management, organisational change or a related discipline is desirable. Equivalent experience in program or project management roles will also be considered.
