Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children's Social Worker to join its client's Children's Safeguarding team, based in Wolverhampton. Are you an experienced Social Worker who thrives on making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children? We are looking for dedicated professionals to join a supportive, forward-thinking local authority in the Northeast. In this role, you won't just be managing a caseload-you'll be part of a team that prioritizes manageable workloads, high-quality reflective supervision, and real opportunities for career progression. What will your responsibilities be? Carrying out comprehensive, child-focused assessments under Child Protection and Child in Need frameworks. Formulating and implementing robust safeguarding plans to ensure children are safe and supported within their families or care settings. Initiating and managing care proceedings, including writing high-quality court reports and giving evidence when required. Collaborating closely with multi-agency partners (schools, health professionals, police) to deliver holistic, wrapped-around support.
