Requirements

• Required:
• Preferred: Post-secondary maintenance training certifications and 3 years maintenance experience definitely a plus. Strong knowledge of industrial systems (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic), knowledge of Robotics including servos & vision system a plus

• This position requires the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Mechanical Aptitude a plus.
• While performing the essential functions and duties of this job, would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands & arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Overtime may be necessary as workload dictates. This may include weekdays, weekends, and/or holidays.

Work involves most of the following: examining machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble; dismantling or partly dismantling machines and performing repairs that mainly involve the use of hand tools and fitting parts; replacing broken or defective parts with items obtained from stock; reassembling machines; and making all necessary adjustments for operation. Perform PM's without supervision Be proficient with all measuring and hand tools. Be able to read and understand electrical schematics, hydraulic schematics, hard copy PLC programs, I/O programs. Possess some basic skills with welding, milling machine, and lathe Possess the skills to electrically and mechanically trouble shoot equipment. Ability to learn at a fast pace and become self-sufficient in a short amount of time. Complete projects/assignments safely and efficiently. Repairs machinery or mechanical equipment. Assist in maintaining repair parts inventory. Possess basic computer skills and assist in maintaining CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) records in accordance with QMS (Quality Management system) and ISO or FDA Accreditation systems. Trouble shoot and repair problems on molding machines, grinders, augers, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, hydraulic systems and support equipment. Performing work safely and in accordance with GMP and housekeeping standards while evaluating and takes appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment with established standards and guidelines. Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Preferred: 2-year degree in related fields
