About the role
You as a Grade 2 Registered Nurse, under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality patient care on 10West. The Grade 2 Registered Nurse will also be responsible for his/her own professional development, for supporting and assisting his/her colleagues and facilitating achievement of specific KPI's as developed for the ward/unit.
Demonstrate a person-centred approach in all aspects of daily nursing practice
Demonstrate active pursuit of professional development relating to stroke, neurology and the older person, and areas pertinent to nursing
Act as a role model and support junior staff in all clinical aspects
Mentor and preceptor new staff, nursing graduates and undergraduates
Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum).

Degree in general nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
