- 3-5 years of experience in a recreational, fitness, or wellness field - preference for experience overseeing recreational sports, fitness, and wellness programs
- Certification from an accredited organization such as ACE, AFAA, ACSM, Mad Dogg Athletics and/or NASM in related program areas
- Certification in CPR/First Aid within 60 days of hire
- Knowledge and experience with safety and risk management regarding a recreational/fitness setting
- Demonstrated knowledge and physical ability to lead fitness-based activities and training
- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication, organization, management, leadership
- Proven commitment to student and staff development and customer service
