Responsibilities

- Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Qualification:
- MA, BA, BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW
- Registration:
- Must be registered with Social Work England
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years' post-qualified experience (including ASYE completion)
- Significant experience within Adult Social Care front-door/triage services
- Experience managing complex referrals and high-risk cases
- Experience providing supervision, mentoring or practice leadership to staff
- Strong background in risk assessment and decision-making under pressure
- Experience working within a fast-paced, high-demand service environment
- Legislation Knowledge:
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Care Act 2014
- Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA)
- Human Rights Act 1998 (HRA)
- Safeguarding Adults procedures and frameworks
- Advanced assessment and analytical skills
- Strong leadership and supervisory capability
- Ability to make sound, defensible decisions in complex situations
- Confidence working in a pressurised, high-volume environment
- Excellent communication and partnership-working skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing demands effectively
- High standard of written documentation and reporting
- Demonstrates professional curiosity, resilience and sound judgement
