The successful candidate will contribute to the academic excellence, scholarly productivity, and service mission of the School of Nursing and the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS). Responsibilities include teaching across undergraduate and/or graduate programs; advising and mentoring students; and developing a robust program of research and scholarship that advances nursing science, healthcare delivery, health systems, education, policy, or related interdisciplinary fields. The faculty member is expected to design and conduct original research, secure external funding, disseminate findings through peer-reviewed publications and professional presentations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address complex health challenges. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, evidence-informed curricula that prepare graduates for diverse professional roles in an evolving healthcare landscape. Duties/Responsibilities Responsibilities include teaching, research, and service. Teaching may occur in undergraduate and/or graduate programs and may be delivered on campus and/or online. A beginning or active research agenda consistent with requested rank is required and supported. Faculty are also expected to participate in service activities that advance the School of Nursing, the college, the university, the profession, and the broader community. Research and Scholarship Develop and sustain an independent program of research; secure external funding; publish in peer-reviewed journals; disseminate findings at professional conferences; mentor student research; and collaborate on interdisciplinary initiatives.
