Job Purpose... As a Runner with Soho House, your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact Your main responsibility is to assist the waiting staff and make sure the member gets a superior experience. You will deliver food orders from the kitchen (or drinks orders from the bar) to members' tables, acting as a point of contact between the kitchen/bar and the floor. Other responsibilities include ensuring tables are set up for service. Key Accountabilities To bring food/drink quickly from the kitchen/bar to its respective location in the restaurants and deliver to members. To maintain a spotless, pristine work environment. To provide service to and is accountable for an assigned section. To develop relationships with members in order to provide personalized service. To polish cutlery ensuring they are ready for service. To prepare any additions to tables in advance (preparing lemon wraps, condiments, butter portions etc). To support with opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations. To maintain a spotless and pristine working environment. To attending regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu changes and specials alongside daily tastings. To wipe down tables after members have left resetting the restaurant so we can welcome reservations and accommodate walk ins. To handling all member interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism and escalate any complaints to your floor manager. To act in all matters related to safety, security, satisfaction and wellbeing of employees and members. To assure the proper handling of VIPs and PWKs, protecting their privacy and confidentiality. To support the team with any of their needs on an ad-hoc basis. Measures of Success Positive feedback from member surveys. Mystery guest Punctuality. Feedback from management team. Weekly and monthly knowledge tests.
