About the role

Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Office of International Affairs, Attache Office in Mexico City, Mexico. Salary: The salary range indicated in this announcement will be adjusted to include locality payment for selected duty location. General Schedule locality pay tables may be found under Salaries & Wages. Minimum Qualifications for GS-12: Specialized Experience: At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service, performing 3 or more of the following: Presenting data, reports, or recommendations to leadership; Developing budget plans and tracking/monitoring budget expenses or obligations; Planning and evaluating administrative programs; and Coordinating activities with internal or external stakeholders. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Qualification claims will be subject to verification. NOTE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
