About the role
The Costing Analyst oversees development and management of product costs: material cost, conversion cost, manufacturing equipment requirements, labor requirements, cycle times, tooling and capital requirements for new business or changes to current business. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business or Operations or Engineering
- 1-3 years' experience in Finance or Operations or Manufacturing or Engineering or Purchasing in the Automotive Industry
- Strong computer skills, i.e., Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Interest in understanding both the financial and technical side of operations and manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience as a value-added team member
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally across the organization
- Occasional travel required
- Master's degree in Business Administration
- Intern experience within the Automotive Industry
- Foreign language skills
