👥 Youth Worker (Tiong Bahru)

Responsibilities

• Support student management and discipline matters
• Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and documentation
• Engage students, parents, and stakeholders when required
• Guide and supervise students under behavioural intervention programmes
• Support teachers in managing challenging student behaviour
• Provide supervision, de-escalation support, and basic counselling
• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality

Requirements

• ✅ Higher Nitec, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Youth Work, or related fields
• ✅ Preferably 1 year of experience working with children or youth
• ✅ Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-management skills
• ✅ Patient, empathetic, and able to work independently and with school staff
• ✅ School or youth-related experience is an advantage

👥 Youth Worker (School-Based) 💰 Salary: $16 - $20/hr 📍 Location: School-based assignment 📅 Contract: Jul 2026 - Jul 2027 (12 months) ⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 2:30pm (1-hour lunch break included) 📌 No work required on weekends, gazetted public holidays, or school holidays (March, June, September, and December). 🚀 Start Date: July 2026
