Responsibilities

  • Event Operations
  • Supervise the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events, including weddings, corporate
  • functions, conferences, and social gatherings.
  • Conduct pre-event briefings with banquet staff.

  • Communicate last-minute event changes to relevant departments.
  • Inventory & Equipment Management
  • Monitor banquet equipment, furniture, and operating supplies.
  • Report maintenance issues and equipment shortages.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of banquet assets.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas.
  • Follow hotel policies and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in banquet, restaurant, or hotel operations.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
