Agentic Product Owner - Hybrid Cloud & AI (m/w/d)

About the role

Your Mission As an Agentic Product Owner , you are responsible for defining, prioritizing, and evolving AI-powered product features across our entire platform landscape - from SAP-based private cloud products to cloud-native extensions on SAP BTP and the public cloud. You identify new value creation opportunities through AI and agentic systems and translate them into clearly structured product requirements for engineering teams. At the same time, you ensure that AI functionalities are not developed in isolation but are consistently integrated into our product strategy, architecture, and user experience. Your Responsibilities AI-Driven Product Strategy Identify AI and agentic use cases within our product landscape Develop an AI-enabled product vision for Private Cloud, Public Cloud, and BTP Evaluate business impact, complexity, and feasibility of new AI features Prioritize AI features within the product roadmap Definition of AI-Based Product Requirements Translate business needs into structured product backlogs Define requirements for AI-powered functionalities Develop clear user stories for AI and automation features Collaborate closely with engineering teams during implementation Agentic Product Functions Define agentic workflows and intelligent assistant functionalities Design AI-driven automation of business processes Ensure meaningful and intuitive user interaction with AI systems Collaborate with UI/UX and AI engineers to implement agentic features Architecture and Platform Alignment Align with Technical Architects on feasible architectural decisions Collaborate with Solution Architects on hybrid solution designs Integrate AI services into existing product architectures Ensure consistency across Private Cloud, Public Cloud, and BTP Data and AI Value Creation Leverage product and usage data to optimize AI features Define KPIs to evaluate AI functionality Monitor the impact of AI-powered features on users and processes Continuously improve agentic product functionalities Organizational Setup Embedded within the Engineering function Close collaboration with: Engineering teams (Private Cloud and Public Cloud) Director AI Engineering Solution Architect Technical Architects UI/UX Engineers Product Management No direct disciplinary leadership responsibility Your Profile Several years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a software environment Experience with AI or data-driven product features Understanding of modern software architectures (cloud, APIs, integrations) Experience managing complex product requirements Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives Strong analytical and strategic thinking Experience with AI or automation features is a plus Why This Role Matters You ensure that AI does not remain a purely technical capability but creates real business value within our products.
