Responsibilities
- Develop multi-year category strategies aligned with business objectives and global strategic sourcing priorities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to establish spend baselines and annual savings targets, ensuring alignment and formal savings validation.
- Serve as a procurement subject matter expert, utilizing industry trends, internal spend data, and analytical insights to identify optimization opportunities that support business goals.
- Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies and supplier spend management initiatives, including complex sourcing projects and contract negotiations to maximize value.
- Apply advanced analytics and procurement technologies to support data-driven sourcing decisions and uncover cost and efficiency opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders to understand their needs and serve as a trusted advisor for managing spend and supplier relationships.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with IT, Marketing, Advertising, Finance, Operations, HR, Privacy, and Legal to align sourcing initiatives and drive business outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policy
- Manage the resolution of sourcing and supplier-related issues.
- Continuously evaluate the market for new suppliers, products, and services to enhance category strategies and deliver maximum value.
- Review and negotiate supplier agreements to support the organization's short-, mid-, and long-term business needs.
- Leverage data analytics for cost modeling and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to support business cases, sourcing strategies, and negotiations.
- You'll Need to Have:
- 5-8 years in procurement, category management or strategic sourcing with specific category expertise across social, digital, media, marketing, and advertising services
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, finance, business administration, or a related field
- Excellent stakeholder and supplier relationship management
- Experience running competitive bids and managing supplier performance
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Analytical thinking and prioritization
- Proficiency in Excel and sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, spend analytics, CLM, etc.)
- Ability to be based in our East Rutherford office with regular travel to our NYC office
