Demand & Supply Planning (Contract)

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service and/or Marketing
• Experience in Demand Planning and/or Supply Planning
• Knowledge of Operational Planning, Production Planning (PP), and/or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes will be an advantage
• Analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools (Excel, Minitab, etc.)
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and self-motivational skills
• Experience working on cross-functional and international teams
• Experience in the following FMCG/Consumer products or Electronics/Manufacturing sectors may have additional advantage on its transition.
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain Operations, Customer Service Operations, and/or Marketing

Job Summary : The person hired for this position, focus on Demand & Supply Planning , ensuring alignment between market demand, inventory levels and supply availability to support business operations. This position will be responsible for creating demand plan as well as managing supply operations. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Demand Forecasting: Gathering and applying market intelligence to the demand plan. Market intelligence may come from marketing, key accounts, and other possible sources including management of any intelligence received via EDI and system historical data. Managing demand planning exceptions related to unforeseen spike demand, forecast bias, exceptional month to date activities, etc. Leveraging forecast performance metrics tools, not limited to Power BI dashboard, to measure demand accuracy, assess the quality and frequency of overrides, assess forecast bias, as well as root cause analsyis of major forecast error. Participating in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process with focus on the alignment between the demand plan and the business plan (OP/QOR/MRE) Managing the demand & supply planning aspects of the product life cycle (new products, end of life, and phase-in / phase-out) Maximizing the effectiveness of the statistical forecast by adjusting/cleansing historical demand and determining appropriate levels of aggregation for future statistical forecast. Maintaining data integrity in the planning system by performing needed realignments and removing obsolete data Recommend optimal settings for forecast consumption parameters that govern the way in which the forecast is netted by sales orders Scope could include planning intercompany requirements from non-deployed countries ("Rest Of World" or "ROW" demand) Supply operations: reviewing current inventory level and assess for potential shortages leading to escalation. Supply replenishment operations including placing orders to needed plant and work with the manufacturing sites for expedites, and reallocation of inventory from other region to constraint area. Collaborating with cross-functional team members, not limited to, commercial team, warehouse and operations team, planning team and customer service team.
