Job Responsibilities JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Transport Operations Management - Implement and oversee transportation management program including vendor selection, vendor relationship, technological needs, employee sign-up methodologies, and compliance assurance. - Oversee daily transport operations for local employees; special transportation requirements for visiting employees; and transportation for clients or visitors. - Plan, schedule, and monitor route optimization to ensure employee satisfaction and reduce travel time and cost. - Ensure timely pickup and drop services across all shifts (including 24/7 operations). - Manage transport control room activities and monitor fleet movement in real time. - Coordinate with CRES or facility teams, security, and business units to support transportation during peak hours or during special events. - Manage and review cab rosters of employees. Vendor and Fleet Management - Manage transport vendors including cab aggregators, fleet operators, and cab services. - Ensure vendor compliance with SLAs, performance metrics, legal requirements, and company policies. - Conduct periodic audits of vendor vehicles to assess safety and appropriateness for use - Conduct periodic audits of documentation and recordkeeping to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies. - Conduct periodic audits of driver behavior to ensure they meet company standards of behavior and presentation. - Verify and maintain updated records of licenses, fitness certificates, insurance, and permits. - Partner with Corporate Security to ensure appropriate deployment of escort guards. Safety, Compliance & Governance - Implement company transport safety policies and emergency response procedures. - Support real-time response to violations of safety policies and emergency response. - Ensure compliance with government regulations. - Ensure adherence to women's safety protocols, GPS tracking, panic buttons, and escort policies where applicable. - Support investigations into violations of safety protocols. - Support investigations into complaints against drivers or escort guards. - Conduct regular safety trainings for drivers and staff. Cost & Budget Management - Prepare, manage, and control the transport budget. - Review invoices, verify billing accuracy, and track cost-saving opportunities. - Drive initiatives to optimize fleet utilization and reduce operational expenses. Stakeholder Collaboration - Work with Operations, HR, Admin, Business Continuity, and Security teams for transport planning. - Plan for business continuity scenarios, crises, or unexpected transport disruptions. - Support Business Continuity Team in the event of a disruptive or crisis event. - Conduct regular communication with employees to handle grievances related to transport. Technology & Reporting - Utilize transport management systems (TMS), GPS dashboards, and MIS reporting tools. - Generate daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports covering usage, cost, compliance, and issues. - Drive digitization initiatives such as automated scheduling, RFID/GPS tracking, mobile application support, other needed technologies including investigation of future technologies.
