POSITION SUMMARY: The primary role of the Program Manager of Youth Leadership is to oversee the operations of the Community Policy Fellowship Program which introduces youth experiencing homelessness to advocacy. Daily tasks include program and curricula development, budget management, and event planning. The role works closely with Program Leadership to ensure the implementation of Youth Fellows' projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: With the support of the Associate Director of Youth Leadership: Provide leadership and oversight for the Community Policy Fellowship Program Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of Youth Fellows Administer and coordinate youth programming, activities, and events aimed at empowering and educating youth to become community leaders Oversee, support and lead youth and staff in youth advocacy work regarding internal programmatic and/or policy revisions Collaborate with internal departments, including programs and administration, to elevate youth advocacy and/or to support youth challenges Attend and actively contribute to agency management meetings, and represent the agency at community and partner meetings and activities Complete monthly reports, including State of Union and budget, and ensure the program remains in compliance with agency and funder policies Program development and evaluation related to roles Oversee data collection and ensure its timely submission Other Duties and Responsibilities: Uphold confidentiality Maintain a creative, team-building, cooperative approach to job performance and seek to bring a constructive, problem-solving orientation to all tasks Maintain an awareness of the agency's mission and work to promote the positive individual and social change goals it embodies Actively strive to upgrade professional skills through engaging in appropriate professional training and experience Other duties as assigned.
