See yourself at Twilio Join the team as Twilio's next Director of North America, Pre-Sales Platform Specialists. This position is needed to lead, coach, and empower the North America Product Specialists team in shaping and executing Twilio's go-to-market strategy. As a key member of the global leadership group, you will provide strategic direction and operational support for the largest team in the department. This is a high-impact, visible opportunity to mentor emerging leaders, drive product alignment across teams, and ensure strong leadership presence in the region during a pivotal growth phase at Twilio.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you'll:
  • Lead and develop a team of managers, fostering growth and high performance across North America Product Specialists.
  • Mentor, support, and challenge managers to create and execute innovative solutions.
  • Cultivate cross-functional partnerships to align on go-to-market strategy and product priorities.
  • Represent North America Product Specialists in executive forums, acting as a key advisor to the global head.
  • Ensure operational stability, trust, and continuity for front-line management during periods of growth and change.

Requirements

  • *Required:
  • 10+ years of experience, including people management within a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Experience as a second-line leader (managing managers) within a technology presales/post-sales or product specialist team.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing leaders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience navigating matrixed, cross-functional environments.
  • Expertise in product strategy, go-to-market planning, and solution architecture.
  • Proven ability to drive business results in a fast-paced, growth-focused setting.
  • Organizational and program management skills.
  • Desired:
  • Experience supporting large regional teams within a global environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, sales enablement, or value engineering.
  • Track record of building trust and supporting leaders through growth and transitions.
  • Location
  • This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CT, NJ, NY, WA, PA or the surrounding areas of San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, or San Jose, CA
  • Travel
  • We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 20% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota or Vermont : $206,784.00 - $258,480.00.Based in Washington D.C., Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay Area): $218,272.00 - $272,840.00.Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or the San Francisco Bay area, California: $229,760.00 - $287,200.00.This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.This role is eligible to earn commissions.The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skillsHealth insurance401(k)Remote work optionsEquity / stock optionsParental leave
