You will serve as a SUPERVISORY SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGER for the Naval Education and Training Command. This also includes: applying hazard control techniques to high-risk environments; leading complex, formal mishap investigations utilizing root-cause analysis and safety reporting systems to implement hazard abatement strategies; conducting formal programmatic safety evaluations (i.e,., SOHME, HRTSE, or other oversight inspections) to measure compliance and analyze leading/lagging safety metrics; and formulating SOH policies and technical training while serving as an authoritative SOH advisor to leadership on risk mitigation and SOH program health.
