Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all maintenance activities, including Mechanical (fixed and rotating equipment), Electrical, Instrumentation, DCS, PLC, and Automation Systems.
  • Lead plant turnaround (TAR) activities by establishing turnaround committees, planning and coordinating meetings, and ensuring all activities are executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Participate in and support various HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) management systems and initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, HSSEI, Supply Chain, and Laboratory teams to support operational excellence.
  • Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and plant performance.
  • Manage instrument and equipment calibration activities while ensuring all records and documentation remain current.
  • Ensure all explosion-proof (Ex-proof) equipment is properly certified, maintained, and fit for operational use.
  • Support management in preparing annual capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets and propose initiatives to improve equipment reliability and long-term sustainability.
  • Oversee maintenance service contracts and facility-related contractor activities.
  • Manage maintenance work requests through the CMMS platform (NetSuite).
  • Identify training needs and organize competency development programs for the maintenance team.

Requirements

  • Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the petrochemical industry, with strong exposure to maintenance and project management functions.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, electrical single-line diagrams, control schematics, and PLC/DCS programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different functions.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, independent, and capable of working both individually and as part of a team.
