As a Payroll Officer, you'll ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting compliance, reporting, and exceptional service delivery. Process and administer payroll, maintaining accurate employee records and managing adjustments such as overtime and deductions Ensure compliance with awards, EBAs, tax regulations, and other payroll-related legislation Provide clear, timely responses to employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies Collaborate with People Services and Finance teams to support seamless payroll operations Prepare payroll reports, assist with audits, and contribute to continuous process improvement Experience in payroll processing with strong knowledge of payroll systems and procedures Proficiency in payroll software (e.g. Employment Hero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality Clear communication skills with a customer-focused approach to supporting employees and stakeholders What's in it for you?
