About the role

As the Senior Quality Engineer on the Network Appliances team , you will oversee the creation and proper coverage for a test plan, with hands on ability to support the development team. Should use technical understanding to be able to execute end to end test cases for any given project. Accountable for ensuring that test plan is completely executed before the release. Highly collaborative as will be working with development team members on kickstarting projects. Act like a glue between different stakeholders and raise quality concerns in timely manner. Actively use metrics to monitor test plan progress. Responsible for leading Bug Triage meetings with different stakeholders. Closely working with Product management in defining success criteria for the project. Lead efforts with the team to define and document testing best practices and strategies. About You 7 + years of experience in software quality, testing and automation. Excited by the opportunity to learn. Loves automating manual processes. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly. Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and application network protocols. Experience with automated test infrastructure in a cloud environment. Experience with performing exploratory testing approaches to bolster quality. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies. Works well within a highly collaborative and functional team. Bonus Experience Experience with device drivers, especially in network appliance contexts. Familiarity with IDS/IPS technologies and how they operate in real-world networks. Understanding of network topologies and inter-device interactions. Exposure to performance testing and tuning across the hardware/software boundary. Multi-year experience working with AWS or other public cloud platforms. Background in cybersecurity, security operations, or related domains.
