Requirements
- Minimum one year clinical and/or working experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term Care nursing.
- Some leadership knowledge/experience is considered an asset.
- Certifications obtained or in progress that include gerontology, mental health, behavioral support, and palliative care are an asset.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse in the Extended Class (Primary Health Care or Adult) and entitled to practice.
- Working Knowledge of the; Long Term Care Act, Program Standards for Long Term Care, Health Disciplines Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Pharmacy Act, Food and Drugs Act (Canada), Narcotic Control Act (Canada) and Coroners Act, is considered an asset.
- Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
- Salary placement based on qualifications and experience.
