The Impact You'll Make in this Role In this role, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Working in a multi-disciplinary engineering team environment to successfully meet project milestones through: Control panel and hardware design Pneumatic system layout Design of electrical schematics/drawings Layout of machine electrical distribution Software design (PLC/HMI) Safety control system design Support creation of equipment specification Compliance with applicable safety standards/codes Equipment control system design, integration and commissioning Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum is looking for candidates who must have the following qualification: Bachelor's Degree or higher in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics discipline (completed and verified prior to start) AND three (3) years of experience in machine control system design, build, and equipment commissioning in a private, public, government, or military environment OR Associate's Degree/Technical Diploma in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics discipline (completed and verified prior to start) and five (5) years of experience in machine control system design, build, and equipment commissioning in a private, public, government, or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (completed and verified prior to start) Five (5) years or more of experience in machine control system design, build, integration, and commissioning in a private, public, government, or military environment Experience using Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens industrial control systems and software Experience working with automation technologies, including servo motion and robotics Experience designing, integrating, and commissioning custom, design-build, or OEM equipment Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or aerospace Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support engineering, manufacturing, or project delivery activities Work Location: Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to Eagan, MN) Travel: May include up to 25% domestic/international Relocation Assistance: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
