Function: Marketing Work Level: WL2 Work Location: Karachi/Dhaka HO Reporting to: (Global Brand Director, Vaseline & Skincare lead for PTAB) Terms & Conditions: Full-Time BUSINESS CONTEXT: This role is to be the PTAB brand manager lead for the Vaseline Global BG team. In addition- This role provides an opportunity to work on Global markets on the Core platform. Vaseline is the largest & ONLY 1 Billion € skin care brand globally, with a truly global presence across diverse markets like the US, Southeast Asia, China, Africa & South Asia. In recent years, Vaseline has been awarded the B&W Brand of the year & it consistently outpaces B&W growth globally, year on year. PTAB is among the top 5 markets globally & has the potential to be a big growth driver for Vaseline. Body care, especially body lotions, is a hugely under-penetrated category & therefore a massive headroom for growth. Across markets, Vaseline is the largest Body Care brand both in share & brand power. As market leader, Vaseline is at the cusp of reimagining the body care landscape, leading the face-ification of the body. The platforms to lead this change are as diverse as the legacy wonder jelly to new age Gluta Hya & a therapeutic offering in Pro Derma. JOB PURPOSE Vaseline is offering a Brand Crafting role to do some fundamental work on Core + exciting new innovations. The brand is evolving from the memory of a legacy portfolio to now building itself as a skincare moisture led master brand. This role provides an opportunity to work on Global markets on the Core platform. WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Brand Strategy - Strong business understanding - from external and internal PoV. - Ability to translate market forces and cat strategy into long-term brand strategy to unlock this underpenetrated category. - Clear identification of the source of growth for all brand innovations and campaigns to help design JtbDs. Consumer Intimacy - Put the consumer at the heart of all strategy and execution. - Identify real consumer problems and solve them using insightful innovations & impactful communications to drive brand growth. Project Management - Work with R&D, Supply Chain & Finance teams for bringing to life the innovation pipeline and ensure the timely delivery of projects. - Ensure timely delivery of projects and help deliver business metrics of turnover, gross margin, and share. Mix Design & Execution - Create the comms strategy for the brand and bring it to life across all campaigns based on true consumer insights. - Work with creative agencies and production houses to bring alive brand JtbDs through the process of issuing briefs, providing feedback, consumer testing, and final production. - Create Brand Experience Toolkits to enable 360 deployments of campaigns across multiple media channels. - Collaborate with R&D to create winning products on core and new innovations to help drive greater loyalty. - Create pack designs with design agencies basis consumer insight and trade/channel realities. Stakeholder Management - Interface regularly with senior stakeholders from country, category, and brand to create and align long-term brand strategy. - Co-create mixes with partners across all functions, both internal (R&D, SC, Finance, Procurement, etc.) and external (Creative, Pack Design, Consumer Research). WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED Experience & Qualifications - Master's degree in marketing or business Administration OR Equivalent. - Experience of working with cross-functional teams, both internal and external. - Minimum 3+ years of experience in marketing
