Job Description: As the top-ranked ServiceNow solution provider, we offer federal agencies the deepest capabilities, resources, and experience for their projects. Join our team as a developer implementing ServiceNow for a large federal agency. This role demands deep expertise in ServiceNow architecture, secure platform operations, and agile delivery. You'll lead the development of scalable, compliant solutions across ITSM, ITOM, and custom applications, while mentoring junior developers and driving DevSecOps practices. Responsibilities include: Architect and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and scoped applications Design, code, and deploy custom ServiceNow applications and integrations Analyze requirements, user stories, and wireframes in a cross-functional agile team Develop workflows, business rules, UI policies, and automation using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub Lead ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and module deployments Perform code reviews, define development standards, and enforce security best practices Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues; ensure stability and performance Author technical documentation and provide training to stakeholders Maintain strict compliance with RMF, FedRAMP, and other federal security frameworks Support software accreditation and maintain application integrity Here's what you need: 5 years of experience with ServiceNow development ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or Certified System Administrator (must be current) Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and ServiceNow Studio Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevSecOps principles Experience with RMF and federal software accreditation processes Bonus Points if you have: Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ITOM Specialist, Performance Analytics, HRSD) Experience with FedRAMP, NIST, or DoD compliance frameworks Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs) Prior experience supporting federal agencies or defense programs Proven leadership in technical teams, including mentoring, code reviews, and performance feedback Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills Bachelor's degree Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required #clearancejobs As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
