Requirements

Position Summary As a Samsung Austin Semiconductor Etch Equipment Technician, you'll be responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing and/or system operations, such as working with engineers and manufacturing in set-up and calibration tasks, system support, preventative maintenance, failure analysis, documenting/following standard operating procedures, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the process and production of memory chips and logic. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, equipment, or processes. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines. Role and Responsibilities Here's what you'll be responsible for: Preventative Maintenance (PM)/Change Point Management (CPM)/System Maintenance: Follows standard operating procedures to ensure equipment/ processes/systems are running effectively. Troubleshooting: Conducts failure analysis and follows scripts to troubleshoot and anticipate future failures. Monitor Equipment/Process: Monitors equipment and processes in current state and proactively looks for ways to improve processes. Teamwork and Communication: Able to work well in a team environment and effectively communicate throughout organization.
