Pathology Service Representative I/II

About the role

Processes requests for the intake and release of Pathology material for internal or external review/testing. Handles correspondence requests for the tracking/status of material requests via phone, mail, fax, and information system requests. The starting annual salary for this position is $42,641 and this can include a full comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• Pathology Service Representative I :
• Required Education and Experience
• Associate's degree in a Healthcare discipline; or
• Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in a setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or
• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and two (2) years of full-time experience in a setting requiring the use of medical terminology or customer service.
• Pathology Service Representative II :
• High School Diploma or equivalency and two (2) years of full-time experience in a setting requiring the use of medical terminology or customer service.
• NOTE:
• Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
