Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, timely, and context-aware Korean-English interpretation during executive meetings, business reviews, strategic discussions, and other stakeholder communications.

  • Accurately interpret gaming-related terminology, product discussions, development concepts, publishing topics, localization, live operations, monetization, operational updates, and cultural nuance.
  • Capture, clarify, and summarize key meeting takeaways, decisions, action items, and follow-ups when needed.
  • Provide light project coordination or PM support, including scheduling assistance, action item tracking, follow-up coordination, and team alignment support.
  • Help bridge communication between Korean- and English-speaking teams by ensuring tone, intent, context, and business meaning are clearly conveyed.

Requirements

  • Fluency in Korean and English, with strong verbal communication, listening, and comprehension skills in both languages.
  • Experience providing live interpretation in business meetings, executive discussions, cross-functional meetings, or similar professional settings; executive interpretation or translation experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to provide simultaneous or near-simultaneous interpretation with accuracy, composure, and awareness of business context.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand how discussions, terminology, priorities, and decisions connect to broader business objectives.
  • Ability to interpret sensitive, confidential, and high-context conversations accurately while maintaining discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong written translation skills, with attention to accuracy, tone, context, terminology, and audience.
  • Strong understanding of the gaming industry, including product, development, publishing, localization, live operations, player experience, and business concepts; deeper game knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Ability to support multiple stakeholders and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on executive interpretation experience, gaming industry knowledge, and overall qualifications.
