Currently, they're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who: - has around 6-12 years of commercial experience - has experience as a Fullstack Engineer with a backend focus (to join a) AI, b) Infrastructure or c) Product team) - is comfortable working on large, complex product systems - is able to make independent technical decisions and understands their impact on both product and business- - is flexible in terms of technology (JS, React, Node.js, AWS, SQL/NoSQL, diverse backgrounds are welcome). Teams that we're looking people for: a) The AI Retrieval team powers the intelligence behind Asana's AI features by finding relevant work graph content and delivering it to LLM context windows. Our work enables AI features that truly understand your work-both within and outside of Asana-and use that understanding to take action. We also own Asana's traditional search experience. b)The Infrastructure and c) The Product team builds features end-to-end. From designing our data models to implementing the subtle interaction behaviors that differentiate good software from great software. We work closely with UI designers and are supported by our infrastructure team. We aim to delight users with both large new features and smaller, daily product enhancements - thanks to our continuous deployment architecture. We want to create a superlative user experience, down to the smallest details. Asana's ecosystem includes a wide range of powerful apps that extend its capabilities and integrate it seamlessly into our users' workflows. These apps help establish Asana as the shared collaboration infrastructure our customers use to get things done, spanning the full breadth of domains and departments. The Functional Integrations team in the Platform Area owns integrating Asana with the most valuable function-specific (think Operations, Marketing, or IT) tools, enabling experts on those teams to effectively share and communicate their work to the company as a whole. What (client) can offer you: 🎯 Role: Senior Software Engineer (a) on the AI Retrieval team, b) 💰 Salary: 31 - 36k PLN gross on CoE (Contract of Employment) ⏱ Working hours: flexible (in Polish working hours) 👩💻 Working mode: hybrid (3 days per week in the Warsaw office, usually Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) 📍 Office location: Warsaw, Marcina Kasprzaka 6 Street, 01-211 Warszawa, Poland 🇬🇧 Speaking language: English (min. B2/C1) The biggest challenge in Senior Software Engineer role: a) in the AI Retrieval team, you'll build the systems that make Asana's AI smart and responsive. You'll tackle challenging problems in search and retrieval, working to improve the speed, cost-efficiency, and quality of our systems while expanding their capabilities to new data sources. b) in the Infrastructure team, you won't just code - you will be an integral part of the entire product development process, from conception to post-launch reflection. c) in The Product Team, you'll be taking care deeply about customers and will be building products that improve the way millions of teams work together worldwide!
