As a Taxation Industrial Trainee, you will be an integral part of the taxation team, supporting compliance, reporting, and advisory across direct and indirect tax functions. This role offers hands-on exposure to tax regulations impacting a leading global sports lifestyle brand. Duration: 12 months Reports to: Senior Manager Taxation Roles & Responsibilities: Assist in preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax). Support GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, and handling notices. Work on TDS calculations, filings, and reconciliations with books. Assist in tax audits, assessments, and preparation of required documentation. Perform reconciliation of financial data with tax filings (GST vs books, TDS vs ledger). Support tax provisioning and deferred tax calculations. Ensure adherence to statutory compliance timelines and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Legal) for tax-related data. Assist in responding to tax notices and queries from authorities.
