Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to identify and deliver procurement-led value creation and cost optimisation opportunities
- Develop and execute category strategies across both direct and indirect spend areas
- Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and complex commercial agreements to maximise value and manage risk
- Play a key role in enterprise-wide cost-out programs, supporting cost-to-serve and efficiency initiatives
- Influence stakeholders and drive alignment between procurement strategy and business objectives
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, value delivery, and continuous improvement
- Work cross-functionally across parcels, freight, and operational teams to embed best-practice procurement approaches
- Navigate ambiguity and shifting priorities while delivering measurable outcomes
- What You Bring
- 10+ years' experience in procurement, with deep expertise in category management and sourcing
- Experience across logistics, fleet, industrial, or manufacturing environments (parcels/logistics highly regarded)
- Proven ability to identify and execute value creation and cost-out opportunities
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract management and supplier negotiation
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and presentation skills, including exposure to senior leadership
- Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Solid grounding in procurement fundamentals, governance, and best practice processes
